The Ron Keel Band has kicked off a rocking summer tour schedule that features headline shows at major biker events, fairs, festivals and arenas as well as a couple of prime dates supporting multi-platinum rock veterans Tesla.

Having already visited Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Nebraska this year, the group is warmed up and ready for a sizzling summer run with all the classics that have made them regional favorites and some new material as well, such as their upcoming single and video “Homesick” and songs from Keel’s “Metal Cowboy” album.

June shows began with a headline performance at Yankton’s Rockin’ Ribfest, and will take the band next to Clark County Fairgrounds Saturday, June 24th for the Clark County Riders MC annual fundraiser/poker run. This event raises money for a variety of Clark County charities and specific families in need; in addition to the RKB concert there is great food, camping, full bar, biker games, door prizes and more. July 1st RKB joins the Bicentennial celebration in Ft. Pierre, South Dakota at the Silver Spur Concert Series: http://www.fortpierre.com/events/2017-07-01/

The Ron Keel Band brings the big show home Saturday, July 8th for the headline slot at Hot Harley Nights, Sioux Falls’ biggest annual biker gathering. Over the past 21 years, Hot Harley Nights has become a tradition in Sioux Falls that has grown to bring thousands of generous people together each year in support of Make A Wish South Dakota, helping children with life-threatening medical conditions. In addition to supporting Hairball at the Red River Valley Fair in Fargo, ND on July 12th, Keel & company will be on tour opening for Tesla at The District in Sioux Falls July 27th and at the Verizon Center in Mankato, Minnesota July 28th.

A busy August starts with a return to the Sturgis Rally on the 8th headlining the Shade Valley Camp Resort concert stage (http://www.shadevalley.com). As fair season shifts into high gear, RKB will be at the Stevens County Fair (Morris, MN) August 12th – Steele County Free Fair (Owatonna, MN) August 17 - McCleod County Fair (Hutchinson, MN) August 18th – and then returns to Sioux Falls for “Jam Against Hunger” August 27th to benefit “Feeding South Dakota.”

The band will continue into September and through the fall (the full schedule with details, info and ticket links is always online at http://ronkeelband.com), only slowing down long enough this winter to finish a new album project for release in 2018. “Summer time means getting out there on stage and working up a sweat,” Ron admits. “We feel like we’ve always got something to prove, and we’re very fortunate to have so many big shows this year. It’s time to go to work.”
